This is a short practice set. Only three examples are given in this practice set. In this practice set, we will solve the problems on the major arc and the corresponding minor arc with respect to the circle.

While solving these examples remember one and only formula that is, Major arc + Corresponding minor arc = 360 degrees.

We have to solve some of these problems by rearranging the above mentioned formula. Also in one of the question we have been asked to find the major arc and the corresponding minor arc by observing the figure provided in the textbook.

   If arc AXB and arc AYB are corresponding arcs and m(arc AXB) = 120° then

   the major arc PYQ?
